Institute of Reverse Perspective

The Institute of Reverse Perspective is a research-led platform at the intersection of art, philosophy, and artificial intelligence.

We believe the unseen — the forgotten, the erased, the unrecorded — shapes our world as profoundly as what is visible.
Through projects spanning archives, cultural memory, AI research, and creative practice,
we build methods to detect and model absences: the missing voices, the silenced histories, the gaps in data.

Like astronomers tracing invisible planets from their gravitational pull,
we explore how absence leaves its imprint — in memory, in culture, in datasets.
Our work unfolds across:

Research: developing AI inference frameworks for negative space in data

Cultural Practice: collaborations with museums, archives, and artists to surface erased histories

Advisory: guiding organizations to identify and work with what is absent — in decision-making, intelligence, and imagination

Exhibitions & Dialogues: staging encounters that bring the invisible into public space
The Institute of Reverse Perspective is both a laboratory and an oracle — building tools, knowledge, and visions for a world that acknowledges not only what is present, but also what is missing.
